E-bikes can be ridden on most local trails.

Good News, you can ride e-bikes on most local trails.

Post Canyon:

Class 1 E-bikes (NO THROTTLE!) are allowed on all trails in Post Canyon (Managed by HR County).   Trailforks is quite up to date for the Post Canyon area.

Whoopdee:

The Whoopdee trail network on the east side of HR valley are on private land owned by Green Diamond.   They follow HR County’s guidelines and allow Class 1 E-bikes.   They, however, do not want the trails on public maps, so we have to actively remove them from Trailforks maps.   If you need to know where they are, we can help you with that.   Just let us know.

Hospital Hill:

The Hospital Hill trail network above White Salmon are on private land owned by Green Diamond and Kreps ranch.   They follow HR County’s guidelines and allow Class 1 E-bikes as well.   They, however, do not want the trails on public maps, so we have to actively remove them from Trailforks maps.   If you need to know where they are, we can help you with that.   Just let us know.

Nestor Peak:

The trails around Nestor Peak are on Trailforks and allow E-bikes.   This is DNR land.

Syncline:

The trails at Syncline/Coyote Wall are on Forest service land.   Unfortunately, E-bikes are not allowed on Forest Service land.

44 Trails (Mt hood):

The “44 Trails“ system to the east of Mt Hood is also on FS land and E-Bikes are not allowed.   It is also signed quite well that E-Bikes are not allowed.  HRATS does not work on these trails, they are managed 44Trails.org.
