Parking Passes required in Fee Parking zones 

Continuing in 2023 - Hood River County Forestry and Recreation Department has started a daily and yearly parking pass system to support recreation at on HRC Forestry Lands including Post Canyon trails. Daily and yearly trail permits can be purchased at the Hood River County website. HRATS supports HRC's efforts to bring sustainability and recreation revenue to this popular recreational destination. Please purchase your pass todayDon’t forget to buy your forest trails parking permit from the county.

Last year 2022, permits raised more than $80,000 for continued maintenance, development, and management of County Forest recreation and trails. The county will enforce the permit this year so get yours and please respect no parking zones. Permits are available from local vendors or on a mobile app at the trailhead.
