The Kreps Ranch are rounding up the cows from June 7th to approximately June 15th. They will be bringing horse and cattle trailers in and out of the Spring St corral area through that time.
Please DO NOT park anywhere near the corral on Spring St in White Salmon.
Please No Dogs anywhere on Hospital Hill. Cows see dogs, think wolves, and get scared and freak out – even your sweet little old Fido / puppy / very old dog / dog that wouldn’t hurt a fly, etc – is a wolf to a cow. Please, leave your dog at home until the cows are gone. Disregarding this landowner request jeopardizes everyone’s access.
Please be aware that there will be real, live cowboys herding the cows down toward the Spring St. corral via trails. Being on a trail that the cows are coming down will be a dangerous place to be.
Please use this opportunity to ride somewhere else over the next 10-days – like the trails up off of Road 44 or in Post Canyon. Everything is riding great with the recent rain. 8-Mile, Knebal, Da Kine and Bottle Prairie are all open.
Riders, thanks for your help. Kreps, thank you for letting us ride!

Just a quick note that I instigated this notice, based on a conversation with the Kreps last week.
Doug VanZandt is in contact with them to determine whether or not these dates are firm yet, or not.
Thanks!
Tom
